FORTNITE PRESENTS THE SOUNDWAVE SERIES – A SERIES OF MUSICAL PERFORMANCES STARRING MOHAMED HAMAKI!

The Fortnite Soundwave Series – a collection of musical performances involving musicians from across the globe — will premiere on October 1, 2021. Each performance takes place inside its own interactive environment within the game. Who is the first performer on the bill? You may have just heard Egyptian sensation Mohamed Hamaki on the radio in Fortnite!
Tones And I, an Australian singer-songwriter, Emicida, a Brazilian rapper, Gen Hoshino, a Japanese pop artist and music producer, and Aya Nakamura, a record-breaking French-Malian vocalist, will all have their own Fortnite concerts in the coming months. Keep a look out for more information as the soundwave continues.

Along with his chart-topping songs, Hamaki’s performance will include the world premiere of his new song “Leilt Elomr”! To participate, users may also access the playlist “HAMAKI’S MUSICAL SHOW” (created by community creators Team Alliance and TheBoyDilly) beginning Friday, October 1 at 2 p.m. ET. The program will replay non-stop for 48 hours (until Sunday, October 3 at 2 PM ET), so there is no need to be concerned if you are unable to tune in immediately. As a thank you for attending the event, players will get the Soundwave Series – Hamaki Spray!

Additionally, gamers will be able to view the performance through Picture-in-Picture, which will be available at specific periods of the event and accessible via the settings.

Beyond the performance, Hamaki fans will be able to dance and listen to Leilt Elomr! To commemorate the song’s world premiere, the Leilt Elomr Emote will be available in the Item Shop beginning Thursday, September 30, at 8:00 PM ET (before the event). Here’s an example of the Emote in action:

CREATION OF CONTENT FOR THE HAMAKI SHOW

Support-A-Creator (SAC) program participants will be allowed to host and monetise VOD material from the Hamaki show on YouTube. Monetization of VOD material will be live for seven days, and there should be no further takedown notices. Additional information:
SAC members must connect their YouTube and Support-A-Creator accounts in order to monetise their Hamaki show material.
